we have EVA4400 with embedded switch
3 enclosure and 300 GB 30 HDD.
EVA4400 firmware : 9522000
Switch Firmware : 6.2.2
CV: 9.1
Servers connected with Single port HBA(FC2142SR).
we are facing problem with the Disk Transfer Rate for server connected on the Right Switch is 0.2 MB/S to 1.4 MB/S. if we connect same server to the Left Switch the Transfer Rate we get is around 138 MB/S to 200 MB/S.
can any one help me understand why there is low Transfer Rate on Right Switch.

Re: EVA 4400 with embedded switch
Supportshow for the switches
EVAperf data for the EVA
So we can see if there are errors on the switch ports and how much traffic is going through each controller port.

Re: EVA 4400 with embedded switch
There are problems on one internal connection, port 11 where Controller A, FP2 is.
Port 11 (controller A FP2) has 6.5k enc in, 2.6k crc err, 6.3m enc out, 6317037 LLI
As this is an internal bus and there are no cable or SFP, you can try to clear the counters on the port and reseat the controller.
How to collect EVAperf data here:

Solution10:00:00:05:1e:0a:a1:2d LEFT
10:00:00:05:1e:0a:d6:be RIGHT
The Left switch is more clean, no enc in or CRC errs in any port.
Port 11 has WWN 50:01:43:80:02:5b:f2:29 (Controller A FP2), and is the one with a lot of errors.
Port 11 on the switch on the right is connected to port FP2 of controller on the left, so the communication goes through the enclosure backplane.
You can try to reseat the controller and if the errors persist, call HP.
