EVA 5000 / CA

will a suspend/resume I/O from CVA cause data to be deleted or wiped out from DR groups, after the ISL was down and brought up.

Re: EVA 5000 / CA

It shouldn't.

It should kick the log into play and data will be logged until resumed, at which point a merge will happen (log --> destination).

even if you did not suspend, loss of the connection effective forces the source to start logging. (usually)

Re: EVA 5000 / CA

Hi Steven,
can we tell from the controller event log that the suspend/resume I/O did not cause data loss.
another question please, what if the ISL failure caused a split between both EVA's due to a new edge on the ISL with default setting in regards to CA (IOD, DLS,APTPOLICY).the new edge was removed and after that the suspend/resume was used.
