Re: EVA 6000 unable to access to CVEVA 8.0.2
Did you installed 8.0.2 above your previous versions?
Try uninstalling all the previous versions and install the 8.0.2, donot over ride the older versions.
Will check if any HP Advisory available on this and update you shortly...

Re: EVA 6000 unable to access to CVEVA 8.0.2
Thaks for your help on this.. But I have tried with CVEVA 6 7 8 and 8.0.2. There is no suspection about CVEVA as installation is clean and found no issues.
I am suspecting some issue with controller level, as Master controller reboot resolving the issue temporarly.
Regards,
Siva

Re: EVA 6000 unable to access to CVEVA 8.0.2
Did you still have the problem? I have have the same problem on one EVA. I have 2 EVA's on site is the production the other is a Dissaster Recovery Center (DRC). If I use no matter wich Appliance I can not manager the EVA on production Site. I received, diferent messages e.g "Bilding View List Object-Fail or "View is not built". Sometime receive that CV licence is not installed, but if you export the license is already installed. (The messases are if you use CV6.02, CV7.0x or CV8.02)
Let me know what you did to resolve your issue. Thanks.

Re: EVA 6000 unable to access to CVEVA 8.0.2
I have purchased an EVA4400 and I also have an existing EVA6000(XCS6110). The current CV level is 6.0.2, which is not compatible with the EVA4400.
So, according to SPOCK, I need to upgrade the EVA6000 controller software to 6.2xx, then install CommandView 8.x.x (fresh install).
At that point, CV will be able to see both EVA's and manage them.
I think you just need to update your EVA controller software.
