SolutionHi!
You use the CLI tool evaperf to measure the performance on the EVA6400.
It can pipe output to a .csv file.
Here are some initial recommendations for EVA best practices:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=110&prodSeriesId=3664583&prodTypeId=12169&objectID=c01846577
More links and hints can be found in this quite lengthy thread:
http://h30499.www3.hp.com/t5/Storage-Area-Networks-SAN/EVA-4400-need-help-with-performance-issues-in-VMware/m-p/4739441#M47600
For example this:
EVA 4400 performance whitepaper: http://h20195.www2.hp.com/V2/GetPDF.aspx/4AA1-8473ENW.pdf
The 6400 is just a little bigger than the 4400, more cache etc. Basic performance optimization should be the same.
HP support used to have a nice tool to take the .csv file from evaperf and make a nice web page with lots of details and graphs.

Re: EVA 6400
Run evaperf for a long enough time and output it to csv. Something like: evaperf all -csv -cont "N second intervals" -dur "duration in seconds"
Then open an HP support incident specifying that you might have a potential performance issue and give them your data output.
You should receive a very detailed report.
