EVA-8000

Hi All,

Which one will give better I/O performace in EVA-8000

Multiple lun Volumegroup(VG)
or
Single lun volumegroup(VG).

If any formula, pls share ..

If I understand the question right - it doesn't matter, but it depends on how your VG looks like (pathes, LVOL layout).

I don't know what the formula would be, if any exists, but variables would include: Operating system; OS version; maximum IO queue depth per LUN; and how random the IO is to the logical volume within the volume group.
