EVA 8400 Error

When we run command view, we get this error “Blocked HSV400 V09 storage system managed by some other agent”

Can you please help us point in the right direction. Is this there something we are missing?

Re: EVA 8400 Error

There is another command view session running. I remember CV is suggesting to kick out this other session and continue.

Hope this helps!

Re: EVA 8400 Error

HSV400 is an EVA6400.
Are you sure you are on the right EVA?

Re: EVA 8400 Error

Hi,

You can try the "cvutil --release_locks -wwn for the Command line

this will be located in "C:\program file\Hewlett packard\San Works\Element manager for windows"

note: Program files will be "Program files (x86) incase if your OS is x64 edition.

Make sure that no other service of Command view EVa is running on any other host.

Try clearing the Browser Cache and temp files and restrat the service.

Re: EVA 8400 Error

It means you have multiple CommandView nodes set up. And your EVA8400 is being managed/active on one of the CV nodes.

Just click on it and management wil move to the CV server you're logged on
