Hi

Just wondering if anyone has a later version of EVACD than 2.4-1?

HPCC SAN Environments outputs a different XML file that EVACD doesnt recognise.

sorry...not helping you but I have a query in relation to HPCC - what are you using to intrepret the HPCC generated XML file - do you have a tool? Feeding the XML file to a freeware XML viewer still doesn't cut it for me - I know HP guys have the tools to generate reports, etc from the HPCC generated XML file but that tool is not available in public domain ...arrrrgggh!

Yes you are right - the HP lads have Navigator which does it all! It is quite frustrating not being able to have this tool as it has everything you would need.

Previously I was using EVACD - which was great - it displayed firmware, RSS info, RAID info, everything from the generated XML file. I was using this after Scanmaster 2.0.1 pushed the config to an xml file.

This is where my problem lies, the xml file generated from HPCC SAN environments is bigger than previously and I get an error from EVACD being unable to recognise this.

So the short answer is... I have nothing :) But I will post in here once I have an alternative that is the same or close to the EVA CD graphical layout which made it so much easier.

What is your email? I have the new version of EVACD which will do everything you need. I had 2.4-1 but now have 3.18. The makers have generously given me a new copy.
