EVA alert due to Controller FC port not connected

This is a new EVA 6400 2C2D installation. After initialization, the EVA is showing an alert (screenshot enclosed). There are no free ports in the san switch to connect the FP4 port of Controller B.

Need you experts' opinion for the workaround

Hi,

to get rid of the error in CV you can set the FP4 to Direct Connect mode and insert a loopback connector.

I've seen people this quite a few times.

There might be other ways like connecting it to FP4 in the other controller but I doubt that's supported and that might cause other problems.

Just plug in a loop back SFP in that port. that's it.
