EVA and Command view Station event reporting.

A simple question I hope.

If the Command View Station is up and running and both EVA controllers hang or the switch (port) dies will an event (keep-alive) be logged and sent to the Application log, if so what would the CAC code be?

Our switch died but it does not appear that any events went to the application log.

If this is normal would anyone have any insight on how to monitor this problem?
