EVA events not being picked up on controller Event log
Hello,
Has anybody seen any occurrences where , if you drop the disk occupancy level on an EVA 4000 and an alarm is raised, it doesn't actually appear in the Controller event log - this is for one EVA only - th eother writes to the log fine. I have logged a call with support and they have told me to stop the Command View service and rename the two files *statefile.txt and *sceevent.binary.* in c:\Prog Files\Hewlett-PAckard\Sanworks\Element Manager for StorageWorks HSV\cache\5000* which I have done and after the restart the old events get written but when I change the occupancy level again and try it again it doesn't come through.
I am running CommandView 8.00.1 and the firmware is SR1142xc3p-6200.
After I restart Controller Enclosure the events seem to get written but then stop again - Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks ,
Karen
