EVA4000 Licens install
Hi.
I have a EVA4000 where we have been running Command View 6.0 on the mangement server.
I wanted to update to 9.2(install that on another server).
Then 9.2 whent fine, and i was able to Discover the EVA4000, and manage it.
The problem is that when i try to import the licens, it just says Installed OK, but the licens state dont change.
This both happens if i try pasting the licens code or uploading the .dat licens file.
The licens is generatede on the webware.hp.com page.
My licens type is a:
T3724F HP DCM 5TB Promo LTU

Re: EVA4000 Licens install
You're trying to load a license for what?
That's a license for EVA Dynamic Capacity Management Software, not for Command View.
You need T5174A (1TB) or T5175A (unlimited)

That is not Nomisdk86's fault. Many customers have received this gimmick instead of a real CV-EVA license in the past.

Re: EVA4000 Licens install
Hi,
DCM licence needs to entered via RSM as well, NOT command view.
