EVA4000

I need to upgrade EVA4000 firmware from 6000 to latest.

Command View EVA V6.0.2 Build 37
SAN Switch Brocade fw level v5.0.1b
Got win2000 & 2003 Blade Server (C7000 enclosure) connected.

What do I need to do? Can i upgrade directly to the latest fw? for CMV can i upgrade from v6.0.2 to v9.3?

Re: EVA4000

Get a CV license from HP. Upgrade CV, EVA, disks, switches and server side components.

At least for the switches you need to upgrade step by step (refer to the many related threads in this forum).

Hope this helps!

Torsten.

Check HP's SPOCK site for all supported version information: http://www.hp.com/storage/spock

Re: EVA4000

Besides checking the SPOCK streams documents also read the EVA SW compatibility matrix and the respective CV and XCS release notes.
They tell you about supported components and prereqs.
