I am facing a problem with the EVA4100 controller battery.
one of the second controller batteries status changed to "holding charge"
and a strange Led indication appeared
The Status led flashing green and then the Fault led flashing amber
yesterday at afternoon the fault indicator stopped and the status led started to flash green slowly, today it went back to the first status again, one green and one amber with normal frequency.
It will be highly appreciated if somebody help me in this.
thanks
M

Re: EVA4100 Battery status is holding charge
Status indicator Flashing + Fault indicator Flashing =
Battery is undergoing a scheduled battery load test, during which the battery is discharged and then recharged to ensure it is working properly. During the discharge cycle, you will see this display. The load test occurs infrequently and takes several hours.
Status indicator Flashing + Fault indicator Off = Battery is undergoing a full charging process.

Re: EVA4100 Battery status is holding charge
i already checked the manual,
http://bizsupport1.austin.hp.com/bc/docs/support/SupportManual/c01681338/c01681338.pdf
it is noted in the table that, while load test, status flashing + fault OFF
that's why i am confused
thanks
