EVA4100 - From 2C1D to 2C2D - EMU Cable

Hi,

Will be upgrading my EVA4100 from 2C1D configuration to 2C2D. Question is about EMU cable to the EAB. Now disk enclosure is on port 1 from bottom-up and controller's Y cable is in port 2.
Should I change Y cable to port 3 and connect the new enclosure to port 2? Or connecting enclosure to port 3 will have the same effect?

By the way, I'm not going to unrack everything because there is no downtime permitted. So layout will be:

Disk enclosure 2 (New)
Controller
Controller
Disk Enclosure 1

Hello Sebastian,

Connect new disk enclosure to port 2 and Y cable to port 3. Refer this link below for recommended configuration

Hi,
Hmm, you may find that the cables do not reach for your suggested config ? so you may have to move the ctrls to the top of both of the disk enclosures as per the diagram.
