EVA440 and Alphaserver 4100 issue
I have an existing Alphaserver 4100 with KGPSA HBAs connected to an EVA4400. Works fine.
I now have a 2nd Alphaserver 4100 with KGPSA HBAs that I am trying to connect.
I have it added to my zone fabric, the WWID of the HBAs showed up in the EVA4400, so I added it
as a host, type of HP OpenVMS. Created a few test drives and presented them, and they show up in WWIDMGR.
I set the OS UNIT IDs on all the drives.
However, in WWIDMGR, the UDID just shows zero ( 0 ) on all of them.
P00>>>wwidmgr -show wwid
[0] UDID: 0 WWID:01000010:6005-08b4-0006-fef2-0000-d000-0017-0000 (ev:none)
[1] UDID: 0 WWID:01000010:6005-08b4-0006-fef2-0000-d000-0023-0000 (ev:none)
[2] UDID: 0 WWID:01000010:6005-08b4-0006-fef2-0000-d000-001d-0000 (ev:none)
[3] UDID: 0 WWID:01000010:6005-08b4-0006-ff07-0000-b000-021d-0000 (ev:none)
P00>>>
Adding -full to the command shows device not found on all of them.
However, if I go into the EVA and unpresent a drive, I see it disappear from this list
after an INIT. So I know the alpha is SEEING the drives, but it is just like only partially sees them.
Like something is missing.
P00>>>wwidmgr -show wwid -full

Is there something I have just overlooked when setting these up? I don't think it is an incompatibility issue,
as I have the exact same AS4100 and HBAs working in production.
Thanks for any suggestions you can offer.
