EVA4400 vdisk not saving changes

I am installing CentOS 5.4 to SAN, the installation is not being saved to the Vdisk. the installation is kickstart based, but even with a manual install, it fails. A vdisk is presented to the host. The SAN has redundant pathing, so the host detects 4 drives for the vdisk. the installation only makes use of the first (/dev/sda).

I booted into rescue and manually fdisk'd the drive, partitioning it, but after rebooting, the vdisk has no partitions on it.

any ideas as to why the vdisk is not saving the configuration?

Re: EVA4400 vdisk not saving changes

The problem is not related to EVA, it is a driver issue during installation (qla2xxx module for the QLogic HBA is not loading).
