EVA5000, How do I assign disk to machines?

So while I am researching zoning, I was wondering how I assign a Vdisk to a computer?

I have created a Vdisk, a host and presented it to the host. I am using the management server as the host because I have not yet connected any other hosts.

Anyone tell me where the batteries are?

Have to be on the controllers right? In the front? The two power supply looking boxes that slide out?

Can I bypass the write cache feature to get around the bad batteries?

The batteries are behind the controller front cover plates. They snap on/off.

"...bad batteries" Sorry, no. I get to see this from time to time where the array was shipped, plugged in, then shut down and the batteries left in for ... weeks or months. In one case close to two years. When powered back up, the batteries are all bad having done a DEEEEEEEEEEEP discharge. Bad cache batteries need to be replaced, then allowed to at least get to their minimal charge.
