EVA5000 - replace fibre channel loop switch
We've had a fibre channel loop switch fail in one of our older EVA's. We are planning to source a replacement part but has anyone actually done this - I can find no instructions on how to remove the fail part and what steps to take etc.
Thanks for any info

Re: EVA5000 - replace fiber channel loop switch
Hi
It's a simple operation if your failed switch is not working you just have to take out the old switch reconnect power cables and connect the fiber cables there is no configuration and all fiber ports are identical so it dosn't matter the actual ports you connect to.

Re: EVA5000 - replace fiber channel loop switch
Also - possibly a daft question, but how do you actually get the thing out? I've had a look...and a wiggle but can't see what is holding it in.
many thanks
