EVA6100, loope switch port 12 have thousend of invalid ordered sets have been detected
Dear All,
we have EVA6100 2C8D and 2 loop switch, enclosure 4 connected to port 12 of the loop switch, but port 12 have been detected thousands of invalid ordered sets and all disks of enclosure 4 lost one loop connection, I changed the cable, and the IO Module of the enclouser, but still have connection lose,
the question is: maybe the loop switch port was faluty, could I move the cable of that enclosure from port 12 to another free port(like port 5, or 6) ? are all loop switch ports transperant and have no addressing effects ?
Thanks in advance :)

Re: EVA6100, loope switch port 12 have thousend of invalid ordered sets have been detected
Because it is a loop switch you can use any other port and try.
Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.
