We are going to upgrade EVA8100 disk enclosure 2C8D to 2C14D. I need you guys advice for best practices. I would appreciate if i get the cable diagram for the 2C14D configuration as i dont find it in hp site.

Such upgrade cannot be done by customer staff, so i really don't think that you'll find this paper in free access.

2C12D is in there on page 27, maybe you can use that one and add one enclosure on top and one on the bottom?

And yes, check the availability of loop switches: for a month ago i faced with a problem when HP had no loop switches for eva 8100.

Thanks for your responce, We are hp partner and have done enough upgrade, But this is first time for across the rack.
This activity to be done on offline or we can do online also ?

I have 2C11D in first rack and 0C3D in second rack, Fibre cable's are layed for second rack enclosure's.
How about the bus to Can bus cable should be connected from top or bottom on the first Rack ?
