Errors in Windows event log when snapshots are unpresented

EVA 8100, RSM 5.0.118

For backups, each night snapshots are created and presented to the backup server (Windows 2008). I get the following error in the Windows event log when the snapshots are unpresented:

An unrecoverable path failure occurred on SCSI address (3.0.7.16). Disk 600508B4000C3AFB000030000BCA0000 is still accessible over redundant path(s).

The RSM script to create and present the snapshots looks like this:
SnapshotStorageVolume(...)
CreateHostVolumeDiscrete(...)
MountHostVolume(...)

and they are removed with:
UnmountHostVolume(...)
DeleteHostVolume(...)
UnpresentStorageVolume(...)
DeleteStorageVolume(...)

In general, everything works despite the event log errors. The backup server has been having some problems every couple weeks and I'm curious is this is causing problems with Windows.

Thanks

Hi!

Just a quick thought (haven't seen this problem before): does the backupserver have MPIO set up/is it zoned in to both paths?

Does the MPIO log say anything?
