Erweiterung - Volume - MSA2012i

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/325590

Danke.

Re: Erweiterung - Volume - MSA2012i
Hello,
I've done this many times with different volumes. If you have fileserver you can do it online. If you have an Exchange or MS SQL please stop the applications and services.
Please assign points to useful answers. Currently you haven't assigned points to any answer:
Regards,
Patrick

Re: Erweiterung - Volume - MSA2012i
many thanks for your answers. Now there is a problem:
When i try to expand i get the message:
Master volumes may not be expanded.
Please convert this volume to a standard volume before attempting to expand it.
We have configured master volumes for snapshots, but dont use snapshots.
I dont find the menu option to convert a master vol in a standard vol. Need help!

Re: Erweiterung - Volume - MSA2012i
you have to use the CLI:
convert master-to-std name-of-volume
