FIRMWARE UPDATE VERSION EVA4000 version 6100 to 6220 with BC and AC

Hi everyone! I have two EVAS4000 with firmware version 6100 and CV is 6.

The two EVA4000 with Continuous Access and Business Copy, as it affects not beyond this when you update the firmware.

I have updated some EVA4000 and EVA4400 but did not have AC or BC by what is not whether to do something extra.

THANK YOU!

Your CA and BC configuration should persist through the upgrade/reboot of the controllers.

You will need to take into consideration other things that need to get upgraded as part of the to-do list.

More specifically, if you use RSM, you will need to go to the latest supported version for that XCS.

Youwill likely want to pause the replication as well, and/or do the EVA's at separate times, performing the upgrade on the DR EVA first... allowing the data to sit there a bit, failing over to it... and than do the primary EVA.... failing back after done.

Thanks Steven, about the steps I have it clear, which had not updated any AC and BC EVA.

I suspend the replication, and then update it tells me the contingency EVA and after the production.

Do I have any other consideration?
