Fail over without HPQLA drivers on RH 5.3
We just bought 5 BL 465c G5's that are going to run redhat. I noticed that under 5.3 the HP QLA drivers are no longer installed / supported. I've tried searching for instructions on how to configure failover for HBA's and so far no luck. Can someone shove me in the right direction? Managed to find the WWN's using the OBA.

Re: Fail over without HPQLA drivers on RH 5.3
Hello,
from release notes;
Starting with RHEL 5 U3 and SLES11, fibre channel HBAs and mezzanine cards are supported by Red Hat in-box drivers (provided as part of the O/S distribution), and multipath failover is now handled by Device Mapper.
step 1;
customize in-box HBA driver as per the Device Mapper guide.

step 2;
Install HP Device Mapper kit
same link as above.
step 3;
install hp-fc-enablement-2009-03-30

hope this helps
Thank You
