Firmware for HP StorageWorks EVA 8100

Hello,
We have HP StorageWorks EVA 8100 with firmware SR1142xcsp-6200 installed.
Where can I see and download new firmware for EVA 8100?
Which moments do I need to know when installing new firmware?
Thanks.

Re: Firmware for HP StorageWorks EVA 8100

The related software (FW+CV) is on software.hp.com.

You need to read the version release notes and upgrade guide from hp.com -> manuals site too!

Hope this helps!
Regards
Torsten.

Locate

HP StorageWorks 4x00/6x00/8x00 Enterprise Virtual Array Updating Product Software Guide (XCS 6.220) (5697-0459, October 2010)

from here

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DocumentIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&contentType=SupportManual&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=470490

(direct link won't work ...)

Re: Firmware for HP StorageWorks EVA 8100

Hi,

You will receive the link to download the software. The picture shows the link to download .iso image of the XCS which you can download and burn a CD/DVD (or use other softwares which can read .iso images without burning a CD/DVD).

Do you get any error on cliking the link "Get Software" ?

Hari

Ok, thanks to all for your answers.
The problem with links was because of my browser Opera. From the internet explorer I receive the link.
Thanks.
