Get XML config from SAN switches?

Similar to how you can get XML info from the EVA with SSSU, is there any way to get XML config info from SAN switches (Brocade)?

Only way I've seen is to use some form of telnet scripting to do a switchShow or zoneShow and then do some painful parsing of the results. Is there a better way? I'm mainly interested in being able to get the zoning info (alias names and WWIDs).

Jeremy, HPCC can do it but it's getting out of support soon.

It will be able to capture configuration from almost every single component in environment including Storage, SAN and various OS hosts.

If you can find it, the Brocade scripting toolkit will do that. Brocade is no longer supporting it, instead directing users to their SMI-A provider.

Re: Get XML config from SAN switches?

I tried out HPCC and it does output an XML document but it just sticks the entire contents of zoneshow and switchshow inside one XML element. So it doesn't make parsing it out any easier.
