HBA support after FW upgrade of Brocade SW5000

Dear friends

 

We have HP-UX 11 v1 RP 4440 server which have AB379-60101   HP PCI-X 2.0 Dual Port 4Gb Fibre Channel HBA card.

SAN switch is Brocade SW5000 which is not HP product. we are going upgrade its fw to FOS v6.4.2. 

How can we check new fw of SAN switch is going to support oparation of Server with HBA.

Hey,

with Proliant hardware it's very difficult/impossible to find any document stating which HBA firmware/driver is supported together with a Fabric OS version. For ProLiant's the advise was usually to go with the latest.

Have you looked in HP SPOCK?
