HP EVA 6300 & Vcenter
So, we're having a situation where our VM Disk Group is at 99% allocation and we're unable to get into our Vcenter to delete snapshots on other servers with issues because vcenter doesnt have enough disk space..
It seems its just been a snowball effect since last night when Commvault was doing backups in VM and then stopped because of disk space.
Anyone familiar with HP EVA's? Is it as simple as creating more space in the group and waiting for the leveling to finish?
We've contacted VMware and they say its a storage issue, HP says theyll get back to us in 12hrs+ with a quote.

Re: HP EVA 6300 & Vcenter
Hi,
yes, if you have unused (ungrouped) Disk, just add them to the Group.
A fast Hot Solution is to reduce the Spare Level from Double or Single to None.
This gives Space of 4/2 Disk back.
Or delete unused Volumes.
