HP EVA 8100 Firmware Upgrade

[EVA 8100 Firmware Upgra]

Could someone please provide the Firmware upgrade and downgrade procedures for HP EVA 8100.

Im specially interested in Downgrade, i do have the release notes for 6.220 which talks more about the firmware update

Current Firmware version is 6.200.

Im planning to upgrade to 6.220.

Could someone share thoughts on this, will be very helpful.

A downgrade usually means "uninitialize" - delete everything and start over. I don't think there is a need for doing this.

No problem to move from XCS 6.2xx to another XCS 6.2xx. Moving back to XCS 6.1xx requires re-initilization.

Anyway, I have never seen anyone wanting to downgrade firmware on an EVA. Latest firmware always works better than previous ones.

Then you haven't been a victim of the XCS 6.1 upgrade cache problem
