HP FC2242SR HBA (A8003A) connected to EVA 8400 gives BOSD when connected to SAN using MPIO
we have the following situation.
we have an HP FC2242SR HBA (OEM packaged Emulex LPe11002) installed in one of our DELL PE2950 server (w2K3 SP2) with MPIO software and DSM's installed.
We have it connected to our leveraged HP EVA 8400 system.
The problem is that when the server boots SAN attached the server will show a BOSD with BAD_POOL_CALLER. When starting it up in SAVE made everything seems to be working. When disconnecting it from the SAN (unplugging cables) the server boots normally and after connecting it again to the SAN the disks are shown as normal.
Here's the software we are using:
HBA firmware -> 2.82A3
HP MPIO -> HPMpioFFMGRv4.01.00
HP MPIO DSM -> HpMpioFFEVA4.00
MPIO.SYS -> 1.23.3790.2451
elxstor.sys -> 5.2.30.020
Is there anyone out there that experienced this situation before ?
Many thanks already
