HP P2000 MSA G3 SAS array and Red Hat Linux Enterprise 64bit
Hi folks:
Hoping someone can help would hugely appreciate it. In any case I have an HP c class chassis (blades) with a HP p2000 MSA G3 SAS array that im having troubles getting multipathd to shrink the # of connections to 1 per LUN. The server sees the LUN's so thats not the issue but I have no idea what im doing with multipathd. On Windows id simply activate the multipathing service. What am I missing? If I need to configure something how do I go about doing this? Do I need to manually blacklist the other connections to the array in the multipath config?
And yes I have tried to read the redhat document on multipathing and it doesnt tell me what I want to know and if it does im not understanding it correctly.
Also other vendors have software/driver packs which you install to do this for you. I found SecurePath but theres no Redhat version 5 64bit.
Please help the lost (me)
Thanks
