HP StorageWorks P2000 G3 with Remote Snap Software
HI.
I am specifying a new system using two HP StorageWorks P2000 G3 units for disaster recovery using the remote snap software. Does anybody know if the two P2000 units need to be identical. I would like to use a dual controller unit with fast SAS drives for the main site but a single controller unit with slower SATA drives for the backup site.
Does anybody know if this configuration is supported.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: HP StorageWorks P2000 G3 with Remote Snap Software
Hi Neal,
Remote Snap is asynchronous replication than you doesn't need similar configuration.
What I saw is that you need only Remote Snap license on both sides to support replication.
