I meant that cable should be with COM DE9F (female) connector on one side and RJ-45 jack on the other. DE9F end connected to PC and RJ-45 to FC Switch. If You have an old FC Switch with DE9F male connector on board You should use adapter with RJ-45 female connector on one side and DE9F female connector on the other. This adapter is attached to RJ-45 end of cable and so we get DE9F-DE9F cable instead of RJ45-DE9F.
