HP cluster for SMS production server specs...

Hello to all, I am setting up a cluster for a Text Messaging server (production)

My goal is to setup a two node windows 3003 cluster, having the MSA 2012i as a SAN with iSCSI controllers, this is my very first time doing this, I just did setup the following and I would like to receive opinions if I am doing it correctly:

MSA 2012i (with two controllers)
--------------------------------------------
Controller A: (management)
LAN IP = 16.82.234.176
PORT A0 IP = 10.10.10.10
PORT A1 IP = 10.10.20.20

Controller B: (management)
LAN IP = 16.82.234.175
PORT B0 IP = 10.10.30.30
PORT B1 IP = 10.10.40.40

DL380G6 Server 1 (with 8 NIC's)
--------------------------------------------
ILO-2 192.168.8.126

MSC CDMA Signaling:
NIC 1 = 172.29.1.4 dedicated USAU-Switch

Custer heartbeat:
NIC 2 = Private heartbeat monitor = 10.10.50.50 (Crosover cable NIC-to-NIC)
NIC 4 = Public heartbeat monitor = 10.10.60.60 (Using a dedicated or shared switch)

Public SMPP Network:
NIC 3 = 192.168.10.40 dedicated LAN Switch

iSCI:
NIC 8 = 10.10.10.11 MSA A-0 iSCI dedicated switch #1
NIC 7 = 10.10.20.11 MSA A-1 iSCI dedicated switch #1
NIC 6 = 10.10.30.11 MSA B-0 iSCI dedicated switch #2
NIC 5 = 10.10.40.11 MSA B-1 iSCI dedicated switch #2

DL380G6 Server 2 (with 8 NIC's)
--------------------------------------------
ILO-2 192.168.8.143

MSC CDMA Signaling:
NIC 1 = 172.29.1.5 USAU-Switch

Custer heartbeat:
NIC 2 = Private heartbeat monitor = 10.10.50.51 (Crosover cable NIC-to-NIC)
NIC 4 = Public heartbeat monitor = 10.10.60.61 (Using a dedicated or shared switch)

Public SMPP Network:
NIC 3 = 192.168.10.41 dedicated LAN Switch

iSCSI:
NIC 13 = 10.10.10.12 MSA A-0 iSCSI dedicated switch #1
NIC 12 = 10.10.20.12 MSA A-1 iSCSI dedicated switch #1
NIC 11 = 10.10.30.12 MSA B-0 iSCSI dedicated switch #2
NIC 5 = 10.10.40.12 MSA B-1 iSCSI dedicated switch #2

I think that I need to add the four target portals at the iSCSI software initiator, for instance adding these four targets to each Proliant server selecting the persistent login and round robin option:

PORT A0 IP = 10.10.10.10
PORT A1 IP = 10.10.20.20
PORT B0 IP = 10.10.30.30
PORT B1 IP = 10.10.40.40

Please correct me if I am planning to do something wrong...

thanks a lot!!!! =)

Aldo,
we cannot really comment on the plan as we don't know the IP subnet mask(s).

Re: HP cluster for SMS production server specs...

All sub-net masks are 255.255.255.0 in this configurations,

also can please tell if I am wrong or good in my design, for instance the way I am adding all the four iSCSI targets (A0, A1, B0, B1) selecting multipath and from the Microsoft iSCSI Initiator software, same thing on both HP Servers

thanks in advance !
