HP server Blade EVA 4400
Hi,
We are planning to set up HP Blade server EVA 4400.
How can we configure the HP server? will the installation guide/user guide be provided with the acquistion plan by company?
Regards,
NJ

Re: HP server Blade EVA 4400
An HP blade is a server, an EVA4400 is a disk enclosure. They are different products.
The blade server goes into a enclosure, it needs to have a Fiber Channel Mezzanine card, and SAN switches or pass-through modules on the back of the enclosure.
The EVA4400 has one controller enclosure with 2 controllers, and 1 - 8 disk enclosures with 12 disks each.
You need to connect the EVA to the same switches as the blade server and then create zones to allow the traffic between them.

Hope this helps!
