HP server under Solaris x86 V10 and Emulex HBA

Hi,
We have 2 HP Proliant servers, in one server we added an Emulex HBA card and installed the driver but it does not work (does not see HBA), in the other server we added HBA without installing the driver and it works (we discover that the driver is already included in Solaris 10). We compared the 2 systems, they are almost the same but we do not understand why the first one is not working.
Did anyone faced this problem ?

Thanks for your answer.
According to the log, the HBA was seen before driver installation, it means that the driver coming with Solaris is good, the new driver or the configuration may have a problem. Is there a way to re-install the driver from Solaris CD?
