HP switch Brocade 4100 and FOS 6.3.0a issue : name server empty

Hi,

When I select "Name server" from FOS 6.3.0a Web Tools, nothing appears in the name server windows (empty) and when I select "Zone Admin", popup appears : "Cannot load information from Fabric, the web server on the switch might be down, try later or refresh"

I am using java v6 update 13 (build 1.6.0_13-b03)

Any idea ?

hi,

Is the switch having entries?

If yes, From CLI you should see such an example
from nsaliasshow command
DS4100:admin>
{
---
---
The Local Name Server has n entries
}

Is this a case of requiring DCFM. You can download the pro version for free.
I havent actually used v6.3 yet but brocade have indicated they are removing access to functions via webtools such as zoning.

No license is required for the basic (free) version of DCFM Pro. You can download it from HP. However, the free version is limited to managing one fabric at a time and advanced features are disabled.

It is ok now.
The pb came from java.
It was necessary to clear java cache.
