HPCC with Windows 2008 server hosts

I have installed HPCC for SAN Environment 1.2.4, but I am not able to validate the connection to hosts running Windows server 2008. I haved turned off the Windows firwall. My management server running HPCC is also a Windows 2008, and the pre-defined "localhost" can successfully be scanned by HPCC.

Well, you should be able to setup and use HPCC's remote windows collection.
Install HPCC as normal. Share the 3.x folder with FULL access as a hidden folder (3.x$).

On each remote Windows host, map the \\svr\3.x$ folder to a drive letter (Z:). then, start a command prompt window:
Z:
Z:\bin\ScanMapped.bat

Disconnect the 3.x$ share. The file is in the spool folder as a 'localhost' XML file.
