I lost WWN and Checksum of HP EVA8100

Hi Elpidio,

The serial number of the EVA array is always on the bezel. So HP support mostly will be able to provide you with the WWN.

Another way to look at it is you must have some EVA license with you. That will also help you get the WWN for your EVA array.

Please let me know the below.

Whether EVA is initialized cureently? If yes you can see the WWN on the OCP Panel. With this HP can tell u about the Checksum.

If the EVA is in uninitialized state?
- If you have the Command View EVA server, under "Program files\Hewlett packard\san works\Element manager xxxxx \cache" folder u can see one folder with the WWN name.
Or if you have any older EVA controller logs, it is easy to get the WWN name of the EVA.

yesterday try to initialize the HP EVA8100 and stayed overnight in process and today I had to restart the controllers
The screen asks me to enter the WWN and checksum.
