IS 8/20Q switch is compatible with 8/24?
Hi,
we have a fabric with 8/24 Core Switch and 4/16 edge switch.
We received a 8/20q from an aquisition and i want to to know if i can do an ISL beetween the 8/20q FC switch and the 8/24 FC Switch to join it to the existing fabric or it's not compatible.
There is no zoning in the 8/20q.

Hi,
Too many infrastructure variables (F/OS, devices attached, etc...) unknown from the limited information you provided.
Check the tables in here and read the F/OS release notes to be sure:

Hi,
i red the document but i'm still not 100% sure. Here is more information ont the system
The core are 8/24 switches F/Os 6.3.0c
The edge are 4/16 switches F/OS 6.2.2b
Now I want to connect the 8/20q switch with the firmware 8.0.2.02.00
IS it compatible?
