ISL conectivity
hi
Currently two switches are in a fabric which are connected through ISL. now we are planing to add another switch int to the same fabric. currently one switch is SAN 16 port switch and another is Blade switch now we are planing to add a new SAN 16 port switch. if i add like this what are the prerequisites should i care and any license required or not ? is any IO disruption on existing SW? how many port can i use as ISL on switch?

Re: ISL conectivity
You do not give us enough info!
Are you using B-Series switches?
Depending on the type and licensing you can just add another switch (full fabric or >2 switch license).
You will find most answers in the HP SAN Design Guide
http://www.hp.com/go/sandesign
For the B-Series switches start in Chapter 5
Cheers
Pete
