Increasing the Virtual Host Size on EVA4400

Hi,

I need to increase the size of the vdisk from 100GB to 105GB from Command View EVA. And I need this 105GB to be refelcted in my file system. How to acheive it. Please help.

Hi,

I depends on the Type of the Host. Incresing LUN from 100 to 105 you can do it from command view EVA on the fly.

If the target machine is windows, then after changing the Vdisk size to 105, you need to do rescan on disk management.

then you can open disk part and do the extend command to increase the file system.
