Is it OK to add a disk enclosure online

I have a 4th enclosure to add to my eva4000. The problem is that I need to disconnect the EMU Cab only cable and add a section to the emu cable between my current enclosures and the hsv200s. Is this OK to do without shutting everything down?

Yes, it's OK.

There is a manual about the adding enclosures tasks somewhere on hp.com, but I currently don't have the link.

I've added one in the past - but I did not need to disconnect the enu cable. I'll search around for the installation documentation as well. Will adding the extension cable between the current enclosures and the HSV cause any issues? I believe it is just used to detect problems and what not.

Thanks for the info fellas. Everything went smooth. One note that may help others out is when the CAB is disconnected the controllers are functional but in EVA you can't see any infor about them.
