Issue with TLVIZ Formatter and EVA Perf Files
I have been capturing information from our CV9 server using the following command against our 3 EVA's..
"evaperf all -cont -dur 3600 -csv -ts2 -fo c:\evaperf.csv"
I can open the file within TLVIZ Formatter, and start to Build the file.. (TLViz file, using ALL option) However, when I get to the part where it's creating the TLVIZ Host Stat File, I get the following error
"TLVIZ-Formatter - Runtime error 457 - This key is already associated with an element of the collection"
Has anyone else seen this problem? Do you have any ideas on how to resolve it? Googling the error above has got me zero hits so far..
Cheers,
Andy

Re: Issue with TLVIZ Formatter and EVA Perf Files
I wish I could help you but I'm just replying to say I'm having the same problem and haven't managed to find a fix yet.
It's a code issue from what I've seen though.

Re: Issue with TLVIZ Formatter and EVA Perf Files
I also got the Runtime error 457, but the user has Full control File Permissions on the MDB File.
I have the Version: EvaPerf 9.1.0.042409A
TLVIZ is Version 9.1 (the one from the EVAPerf 9.1 Installation Folder)
MDB File, TLVIZ and CSV-File are in the same Folder.
any idea how to solve this problem?
regards
Patrick

Re: Issue with TLVIZ Formatter and EVA Perf Files
HP StorageWorks Command View EVA Software -
Tlviz Formatter from CV 9.1 While Formatting Reports "Run-Time Error : 457"
Issue
Tlviz Formatter from CV 9.1 while formatting reports "Run-Time Error : 457"
when evaperf collected with friendly names.
Evaperf command using friendly names
evaperf all ├в cont 15 -dur 3600 -sz
When the evaperf collected using non friendly names the formater works fine.
Evaperf command with out using friendly names
evaperf all -nfn ├в cont 15 -dur 3600 -sz
Below is the screen shot of the error.
Solution
The above Run time error is a known issue and has been fixed in Cv 9.2.
Following is the from release notes.
The following fixes have been implemented in HP Command View EVAPerf 9.2:
├в ┬в Run time error with Tlviz Formatter├в The problem with an undefined port in the evaperf hc command causing a run time error in TLVIZ Formatter has been fixed.
├в ┬в Assertion failed popup in perfmon├в The occasional assertion failed error when trying to add HP Command View EVAPerf counters in Perfmon has been fixed.
├в ┬в Friendly names in host connection data of evaperf mof output├в evaperf mof output for host connections will have the friendly names for the hosts.
