LUN replication
Hi,
We mirror data LUN from our Live site to DR site, we are moving our DR site to another location, I am sure that we can mirror live LUNs to two sites but i am not sure if cisco zoning supports it. Can one director MDS9000 series send FC over IP traffic to two destination. i.e. we keep the replication going with our existing LIVE/DR site and then add new replication to the existing LUN from our new site, in this way we will have LIVE relicating data to 2 sites simultaneously, we then drop replication from the OLD site. In this way we would not be a risk because the complete data LUN replication takes 2-3 days and if we replicate after we move to new site and a DR situation arises then we are in trouble.

Re: LUN replication
What are you using to replicate? Is this an EVA array? Are you using CA or some other method, for example LVM mirroring between HP-UX servers?
