I have a question regarding the licensing of Continuous Access to the difference between these two licenses:
-HP Continuous Access EVA6000 Series 1TB Software License
-HP Continuous Access EVA6000 Series Unlimited Software License
I appreciate your support in advance.

Re: Licenses CA
I have an EVA6100 which have 5 licenses, 4 1TB and 1 Unlimited, and the CV I mark that is already 90% of his discharge, being that there is an Unlimited license. Why is that?.
Now, if I remove the 4 licenses 1TB I can use in another EVA?

Re: Licenses CA
That version often fails to recognize EVAs6000 and 6100, it does not see the loop-switches and thinks it's an EVA4000/4100. So the license is not valid as it's for an EVA6100.
Go to hardware - Rack 1 - Controller enclosure - Controller A - Device ports
See if you see an switch 8xx there.
Refresh the page
Go to top of the CV tree and do a rediscover
Restart CV service
Clear browser cache
A combination of all that has solved the licensing problem in all cases I've seen.
Attach an screenshot of the licensing page if it does not work.

Re: Licenses CA
So far I have no access to the CV, but given time if I remove the 4 licenses 1TB I can use in another EVA?

Re: Licenses CA
No, the license key it locked to the existing EVA's WWN. As far as I can tell you cannot transfer an existing license to a new WWN.
