MPIO DSM Windows 2003 64Bit Double Volumes appearing
We have a server with Powerpath zoned to a CX SAN. Need to migrate to a EVA 6400.
Installed HP MPIO DSM , zoned and presented 3 600GB disks.
Issue is we see double the amount of disk at the os end.
Any ideas how to get DSM to work? Hoping its not a Powerpath issue. Also installed PowerPath with HP support.

Re: MPIO DSM Windows 2003 64Bit Double Volumes appearing
Hi Chris,
take a look here:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=421494&prodTypeId=18964&prodSeriesId=421492&swLang=13&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1113
make sure you installed the first TWO downloads:
- HP MPIO DSM (Device Specific Module) Manager for Full Featured DSMs
- HP MPIO Full Featured DSM for EVA4x00/6x00/8x00 families of Disk Arrays
Afterwards you will find the MPIO management console in you startmenu (see attachment)
Here you can define your desired path policy.
