MSA 1000/1500 query

HI ALL,

I have few questions about MSA 1000/1500cs as follows:

how will i know if currently running controllers are active/passive or active/active?

if active/active controller , and if i pull any controller, will there be data loss? and one controller will take over

if active /passive controller - if i pull active controller , will there be data loss? and passive controller will take over

if left hand side controller is active and right hand side controller is passive. how will i make right hand side controller active?

normally right hand side controller is active right?

while upgrading firmware to MSA. if it crashed or corrupted for any reason and MSA is not coming up. is it possible to load orginal firmware using CLI?

above all will clear some doubts about MSA

Thanks in advance

Not all firmwares are active/active.
If you take out an ADU report from the MSA you can find the firmware version you are running.
Also I'm fairly sure it says active/standby in the OCP (the LCD panel) of the controllers.

The cache is mirrored between the controllers. So if one goes down your data should be safe.

Can controllers be hot replaced?
