MSA 1000 Deleting a Volume
I have a MSA 1000 with 4 Raid-5 volumes. i am using ACU to create the Array. But i found , if i want to delete the volume number 3, which is created before Volume 4.. then i dont find a Delete option on Volume 3 . Delete option is available only on Volume 4. How to delete the volume 3 without disturbing other Volumes.

Re: MSA 1000 Deleting a Volume
A LUN cannot be deleted if there are other LUNs after it.
For example, if LUNs 0-3 are configured,
LUN 1 cannot be deleted without also deleting LUNs 2 and 3

Re: MSA 1000 Deleting a Volume
So there is no other way to delete the old lun ??
HP should provide some steps to delete,.as this is a very basic requirement.

Re: MSA 1000 Deleting a Volume
the other way around this problem is to create one LUN Per Array. Of course you will loose some performance though.
