MSA 1500 Active/Passive, 2008 Server R2

Does anyone know if this is supported. I can't seem to find an MPIO client. Or whether this is going to be supported.

Also, has anyone used this with the built-in Microsoft MPIO client in R2 with any success?

Thanks.

Hi, the MSA1500 needs A/P firmware 5.3 to be supported in Win 2008 and there is a full featured DSM available too. If I get time later I'll hunt down the link for you.

Thanks Greybeard.

I am on:

MSA1500 Firmware Revision: 5.30b1200

And I think I saw the right Client, but I wasn't sure so I wanted to check in the Forums first.

Anyone out there using this in production?

Yeah.

I can't see an HP MPIO Basic DSM for Active\Passive in Windows 2008 Enterprise Edition R2 at all.

I see one for 2003.

Has anyone tried using the Microsoft MPIO included in 2008 server for this?
